Welcome Learners!

 

We are looking forward to working together throughout this course and the creativity, information, and support we will generate in our discussions and projects.  Spend some time reading this syllabus to understand course expectations and contact me with any questions you may have. Above you will find my e-mail address and on-line office hours. If you go to my personal homepage you will find a link entitled: Download Page. There you will find a link for MSN Messenger and AOL Instant Messenger. Download one of these messengers by following the instructors on their download page. Once you have installed your messenger you may add me to your buddy list. My handle is fatdaddy1; my on-line office hours are 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm from Monday to Thursday. The messenger you download from my download page is up to you, I have both messengers, therefore I will be able to chat in real-time with you.

2.    Stay current in your assignments and course room participation (if needed); if you need assistance I am available to help

*  I will respond to private emails as quickly as possible with a guarantee of a response time within 24 hours

*  I will work to provide constructive ideas to improve on your assignment postings or e-mailed assignments, if necessary

Grading Policy

 

The grading policy is provided to you in the form of a rubric listed in the course material.  Any grade appeals should be requested at the end of the course and directed to one of us.  We will refer you to the resource person to file an appeal.
